Pronunciation of Pathseers
Pronunciation:
A Pathseer is a creature who can see into the past, present, and potential future. There is one eye spot on their back and one on their chest. The one on the back represents the ability to see the past, and the one on the chest represents the ability to see the potential future, while their true eyes see what is currently happening. The pathseer's vision is only able to see the time lines of those who interact with them, meaning that if they have not met you they can not see anything about you.
However, if you have met one they will see your past and potential future at that time. The future is flexible though determined by your current actions. So, if you no longer interact with them and you make different choices then they could see at the time, they will lose track of who you may become. The three tails and three sets of ears also represent the three places in time they are able to see. Their ears can hear each place in time. The smaller set hearing the past, the larger set hearing the vast options of the future, and the middle set hearing the current time. This is in fact how they where named, Path: describing the directions a life has taken, is taking, or may take, and Seer: the ability to see something that is beyond true vision.
Pathseers commonly display one of three personality types.
The first personalty type is often easy going and says little to nothing about what they see about anyone, letting peoples lives take their own course, this is refeard to as type A personality .
The others act more like guides in one way or another. One guide type (type B personality) uses someone's past to lead them into trouble. Some see these as demons as they often lead others to sin.
The second guide type (type C personality) uses a person's past to guide them away from trouble, trying hard to help who they can.
All three types can be rather playful and mischievous most of the time but can get very serious when they need to. They are much like lemurs able to be very energetic as well as simply enjoy relaxing. All three tails are prehensile, able to grasp things and lift up to their own weight, making them great, and agile climbers. Their hands have an incredible grip, helping them in tasks such as climbing but the lack of grasping toes often leaves their legs free hanging when off the ground. However they are armed with sharp claws and strong leg muscles for jumping so being kicked by one would be far from pleasant.
These creatures are not time travelers, or pathfinders. they simply see where you have been, where you are and where you might go. They are not true demons and have no obligation to guide anyone unless they chose to of their own free will. Most of the time they only stay involved with people they have made some sort of close bond with. That bond may be built off genuine friendship or love, or the entertainment of messing with your life.

Intelligence: very smart, able to learn about anything they are interested in much like a human.

Personality: All are normally witty and playful but can also be quite calm watching things unfold from a distance. They become hostile when they are pestered for information they do not want to share, or are protecting something such as their home, or young. There are also 3 primary personality types that are different.
Type A: Refrains from getting involved with the lives of others, letting them take their own course.
Type B: Likes to lead others lives into trouble for their own entertainment.
Type C: Tries to guide others to a more positive or productive life, wanting to be helpful.
Technology: are able to use any type of tech or learn to use it but typically prefer a more nature based lifestyle only using tech when they have to.
Diet: Omnivores, with a strong preference for fruits and insects.

mating ritual:
suiter: defined as the Pathseer making an offer that represents the future they hope to have with their partner
courted: defined as the Pathseer being presented with the offer and will chose to accept or deny the suiter based on the offer.
Courtship displays: The suiter will find three items that depict the future they hope to have with their partner such as food (they want to enjoy meals together), baby item (they hope to have offspring), a sapling tree (they hope to live in a natural forest home). If the courted likes the idea of that kind of future for themselves they will accept and take the items with their tails, confirming a successful courtship. If they do not approve they will simply not take the items.
pair types and mating: Although there are male and female genders the suiter can be either and can chose to court either male or female so not all partners are hetro pairs. Same gender pairs can not reproduce however they are well known to adopt orphans.
Pairs are primarily monogamous with type B being the most promiscuous, and most likely to seek mating with others along with their partner.
Types C Pathseer's are often the most loyal to their partners and strictly mate with their one partner.
Type A is normally loyal however they have been noted to on occasion mate with others, most often seen with pairs where the other partner is type B.
For Pathseers mating outside the pair is not seen as bad behavior, however the partners can become upset and may become more clingy or irritated.
This does not typically end a pairing. Pairs only tend to end if one passes away, meaning they will not try to find a new partner unless the one they have is dead
