It is feared by fisher men and woman alike, as it is unclear about this sea animal, just that it lives in the sea and has been seen eating fish and shell fish and gets hostile when eating and if your to close to it. The creature was cut up by vets and studied only to find that it had no brain and no blood, but pumped sea water through it veins and not a fool or dumb animal but reactionary.
It is made up of tough leathery skin, and has an armor like spine. It has venomous beak to help detritus its food outside of its body, its beak is also sharp and strong enough to cut an arm off. It seems to come from deep and sit in shallow water and wait for fish or shells fish to swim or roll up to it.
Many fear it may eat anything near it so many tell their kids and others to stay away from it. It sometimes can be hard to see as it appears the same color as sea water sometime hide in sand in shallow sea water. They grow to size of bulky men.

Hunters note: This creature cannot be tamed or be a companion, however is used by skillful hunters as a trap animal commonly using bait to draw dangerous fish close to the creature that would be a danger to anyone or a bait mine that explodes on an interloper under water that would draw this creature to attack them. Also has been known to be a good natural guard like creature in the water if attracted to the right area.
