This bird is one of the element gifts from Teenar, it represents the element of wind, and in some rare cases, thunder.
The Kra are used by specially trained farmers and the king guards. You must have a wild high mount license & flying mount license to have one or a flock. You must let them go to the kingdom to rest every winter for a few months. As a gift from god Teenar, he made them in order to help rebuild the bubble shield around Domhan Gra, or to keep up its strength and to help patch up any holes. If there is a hole in the bubble shield the wind Kra / thunder Kra will flock together to become a tornado. It doesn't matter if they’re a farm animal, pet, or guard post flyer; they will kick off any rider and leave the area to repair any hole in the bubble shield.

When breeding Kra there is a 1 in 50 chance they have a thunder Kra chick. They are both rare and dangerous. The thunder Kra will be taken from their owner and given to the kingdom to be used as a king guard, it doesn't matter what licenses you have. It is against the law to own thunder Kra. They're too wild and take many years to tame.

Around spring and summer, at the start of every month, the kra flock to the sea or lake to collect water. They use the water or sea water as a food source but also take in extra to use for watering farm crops or filling wells. Don't worry, they don't absorb the salt from the sea, however, the salt is good for their floof.

In spring when chicks have hatched and have not yet learned to fly, the parents of the chicks carry them to the sea / lake on their backs or in their beaks. The chicks keep out of the sea/water or they begin to poof and floof up and float away, they are never seen again If the parents or owner can't catch them. They get water from sitting on their parent’s cloudy bodies, this stops them from floating away.

They eat water / saltwater and bolt berries or water like berries.
They are as tall as two men on average and can get a lot bigger.

Kra chicks are as small as a child’s palm and round like balls of cotton. They’re white but also rarely black. White ones are common wind cloud birds, but black ones are rare thunder cloud birds. They don't get their black, green and orange patches on their beak or get colours on their horn until they grow to adolescence.

Adolescents are the size of a grown man, they are very playful and cheeky at this age. It’s best to start training them when they are chicks but you can only teach them so much when they are young. Chicks can't carry a saddle yet.

They are like the horses of the sky; smart, cheeky, playful and willing to work.
They need to be in a flock or with someone after a few hours alone as they don't like being left by themselves. It is said by travelling farmers or the king guard that they love to listen to you chat and they also love to nuzzle.
They are white if they are wind cloud birds but can have a glossy shine of a number of different colours. They can be hard to tell apart, they don't get markings or birthmarks on their body, just on their beaks and horn.

Hunters note: Can be tamed or companioned often used as a farm animal watering crops or as a mount to fly. Sometimes known to kick off their riders to repair the shield, it's best to just let go of the reins and let them do their work to avoid them throwing you off.

It takes a careful hand to be able to ride and is a bit hard to handle unless they trust you through companionship they will be very loyal and calm to their owner.

NOTE: Lightning Kra is illegal to own unless you are part of the guard, or if you have explicit permission from the commander and monster guild master's approval with the appropriate training and certifications. They are VERY aggressive but are fiercely loyal to the guard that owns them. with the right training.
